Here, at A+ Educational Mapping, we are able to offer free tutoring to children who attend Title I schools and receive free or reduced lunches. We offer specialized study programs for all students, attending Title I schools, from Kindergarten through grade 12. We are approved by the Board of Education to assist children in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.

We pride ourselves on being especially suited to serve the South Florida community because we have bilingual tutors who speak either Spanish and/or Haitian Creole. This helps us better teach those students who didn’t learn English as a first language and/or don’t use English as a primary language at home. It also helps us better communicate with parents who don’t use English as a primary language, so that they are kept up-to-date about each child’s progress.

Besides having bilingual tutors, our services are also unique because we pace our lessons to complement each child’s classroom concepts and instructional materials. This allows our tutors to rely on the pace set by classroom instruction to adjust lesson plans. We also encourage parents and schoolteachers to provide feedback regarding each child’s documented student progress or developmental delays.

We understand that successfully providing Supplemental Education Services demands that our program be consistent with the district’s curriculum and align with the Sunshine State Standards. Accordingly, our program will strictly comply with all components of the No Child Left Behind Act.

Our program applies research-based teaching methods and focuses on teaching children how to use different learning strategies in any situation. Our goal is to enable and empower each child so that s/he feels comfortable and confident in every day classroom situations, as well as when taking a statewide-standardized test. By teaching them proven self-organization and self-evaluation, children learn when to ask for help, and then how to apply the help in everyday testing situations after they receive it.

Learn About SES
Students who receive free or reduced lunch and attend a Title I school designated by the state of Florida to be in need of improvement status for two or more consecutive years are eligible for supplemental educational services (SES). The term "supplemental educational services" refers to free extra academic help, such as tutoring and/or remedial intervention, that is provided to students in subjects such as reading, language arts, and math. For more information on Supplemental Educational Services, please visit the Florida Department of Education.

No Child Left Behind Act
The United States Congress passed the No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) in 2002. NCLB’s main goals are to improve the performance of America's elementary, middle, and high schools, while also making sure that children aren’t forced to attend schools that don’t meet these goals. It allows the state of Florida to establish specific education goals for students in certain grade levels, which can be measured through standardized testing. NCLB then provides funding to provide extra academic assistance so that students meet these educational goals. For more information on the No Child Left Behind Act, please visit the United States Department of Education.
